Size of the area of Parish 12 Sungai Kluang very small and the size of this parish is 98.42 square kilometers. Parish 12 Sungai Kluang has a population of about 20,000 inhabitants. Although the population of this parish is not crowded but many people from other parishes and other districts come to this parish and at the same time come to Rengit Town.
The reach of Rengit's economic territory can naturally attract local communities as far as Senggarang from the north, Ayer Baloi from the south, Parit Raja / Ayer Hitam / Machap / Simpang Renggam from the east and coastal area from the west which includes Minyak Beku (north coast) to Ayer Baloi (south coast). Among the attractions in the town of Rengit is the one stop center of used goods brought from The Republik of Singapore by the local Orang Asli ( Indigenous People ) community. Beside that... Rengit town attraction is Rengit coffee. Rengit is one of the major towns in the Batu Pahat district besides Penggaram (district capital of Batu Pahat), Yong Peng & Parit Raja. Rengit town is one of the town's gateway to the Batu Pahat district from the south.
